Raves for Mimi's Plate

Healthy organic food is important to me, but so is taste. For the past four years, Mimi has been cooking wonderfully delicious and beautifully presented meals for me. As someone who loves to cook myself, I especially appreciate the way Mimi and I work so well together, coordinating and planning holiday menus and meals for special occasions. Mimi is a pleasure to work with and I always look forward to her food arriving, especially her delicious lentil soup. I know she will have great success with her business.

Mimi has been an amazing addition to our family functions over the years. She has cooked many wonderful Thanksgiving dinners as well as providing complete catering services for our childrens christening. Mimi also cooked for us when we celebrated the renewal of our wedding vows. She is considered a friend of the family and we look forward to the success of her store. We just hope she doesn’t get so busy that she can’t continue to cook for us!!

Mimi’s makes it to go — and tasty

It must have seemed like a bad news-good news situation for denizens of Tappan: The Baker's Wife closed, but Mimi's Plate filled the vacuum. Like its predecessor, Mimi's Plate carries the lauded loaves of Balthazar Bakery, but it offers a broader menu of salads, sandwiches, soups and snacks.
